Annette Erlangsen, Denmark - Analyses of Danish registry data designed to determine whether SSRI antidepressant usage has led to a decline in the suicide rate among older adults.
Margda Waern, Sweden - Data concerning antidepressant treatment in elderly suicide attempters, both prior to the attempt and at one-year follow-up. Preliminary results from a questionnaire on the elderly attempters' attitudes to antidepressant treatment will also be presented.
